Many studies over the past decade are beginning to show the important relationship between the gut microbiome and its influence on common diseases.

With DNA sequencing, exact changes to the gut microbiome can now be measured.

Environmental, genetic, hormonal or even psychological factors are most often cited as the cause of common skin diseases such as acne, eczema, psoriasis or rosacea. This study examines the relationship between skin problems and inflammation of the small intestine – and making the link to sugars consumed in everyday foods.

Results are fast! – significant improvement to our acne subjects have been observed within days of changing their dietary habits to alter the gut microbiome
